Hartheim Castle, a place of learning and remembrance, is a space for reflection, learning and respectful coexistence. To ensure the safety of our visitors and to protect this historic building and its exhibitions, we have installed a CCTV camera in the entrance area.
The footage is used solely for the protection of the building and its contents, and to prevent vandalism. The camera only covers the immediate entrance area. The data is treated confidentially; there is no live monitoring, and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations (GDPR), the recordings are automatically deleted after a specified period. Data will only be passed on to the relevant authorities if necessary.
