Research Possibilities

Since the establishment of the Documentation Centre Hartheim and the creation of the “Hartheim Memorial Book”, it has been our mission to research the fates of victims of Nazi euthanasia and to support relatives in their search for information. If you want to discover the fate of a victim of the Nazi euthanasia policy, please contact us in writing or by telephone and we will do our best to help you.

Over recent years we have supported projects by researchers and memorial initiatives who have contacted us from all over the world, helping to enable a fitting commemoration of victims of Nazi euthanasia.

Naturally you also have the option of visiting the archive holdings of the Documentation Centre Hartheim in person and researching in the library of Hartheim Castle – Place for Learning and Remembrance. All archive materials that are not subject to special preservation orders can be viewed by interested parties. If you would like to carry out your own research here, please contact us in advance.
