With their financial contributions, donors ensure the continued security of the foundation.

The amount of these payments is determined by the donors themselves and is an expression of their appreciation of the purpose of the foundation.

Contributions and donations to the foundations are tax-deductible payments as confirmed by the Austrian Ministry for Education, Art and Culture – 10.212/0002-IV/2/2011 in accordance with Section 4 para. 4 6b EStG. The State of Upper Austria is one of the largest donors.

Foundation’s obligations: All donors are invited to the annual general meeting. The Place for Learning and Remembrance keeps the donors updated about its activities with a printed annual statement of accounts. Donors are personally invited to all events and can take part in guided tours free of charge.
