The Upper Austria Memorial Book is a collection of biographies on people who were persecuted during National Socialism for various reasons or who put their lives in danger through resisting the Nazi regime.
The contributions are designed by people who have a personal, local or content-related connection to them. The book is publicly accessible in the Mariendom in Linz and, from May 2022, also in the Linz Castle Museum, and new biographies are added to it every year. Among the biographies presented this time are those of Aloisia Leitenmüller, who became a victim of "Aktion T4" in the Hartheim Killing Center and of Christian Gasselseder, who was killed in the course of "decentralized euthanasia" in the psychiatric institution Niedernhart in Linz.
On May 19, 2022, the presentation of the contributions from the year 2021/22 will take place in the ballroom of the Schlossmuseum Linz. Start: 6 p.m
