New publication "War and Psychiatry"

On Monday, December 12, 2022, we presented our new anthology (in German language) to the public in the documentation archive of the Austrian resistance (Dokumentationsarchiv des österreichischen Widerstandes) in Vienna.

Around 35 people took part in the event in the permanent exhibition of the documentation archive.

The editors and authors presented the research results on living conditions and mortality in four Austrian sanatoriums and nursing homes during the First and Second World Wars and the Nazi period: Mauer-Öhling (near Amstetten), Steinhof (Vienna), Niedernhart (Linz) and Hall (Tyrol).

The book is now available in bookstores as well as in the shop of the Memorial Site Hartheim Castle.
