The area of the memorial comprises 11 rooms, some of which were used as general outbuildings during the time as a euthanasia centre (workshop, coal storage room etc.), whereas others had a direct role in the killing process.

The former are now used for documentation about the organisation of the Nazi euthanasia programme in general and the progress of the T4 and 14f13 campaigns at Hartheim Castle in particular; the latter are solely commemoration rooms, where very little information is provided. In the menu at the left, you will find individual rooms with photos and descriptions.
